今年的耶誕節，如果上帝要你送祂一件禮物，你擁有什麼是上帝想要你獻給祂的呢？上帝要你的錢財？對！要你的技能？是！你的心思？沒錯！你的時間？祂要！你的一生？正是！上帝想要你和我的一切，祂要我們將一生獻給祂。為什麼我們應該將生命中的一切獻給上帝呢？詩篇24:1說：「大地和其中的一切都屬於上主；世界和世上的居民也屬於他。」我們所擁有的一切，包括我們的一生，早已屬於上帝了。 當我們獻上一切所有和生命時，就是在表達我們想要成為上帝謙卑的僕人，也就是在告訴上帝，我們相信祂會給我們最好的照顧，同時也在訴說，希望上帝能使用我們來幫助教會成長。 當我們獻上一生給上帝時，我們說：「上帝，謝謝祢賜給我一切所有。」這才是有生以來你能夠獻給上帝最棒的禮物！ —GT 「上帝啊，我獻上的祭是憂傷的靈；憂傷痛悔的心，你不拒絕。」 詩篇51:17
禱告：天父，我要為祢所賜給我的一切和才能獻上感謝。奉耶穌的名，阿們！

A Gift for God

God wants you to give Him a gift this Christmas. What do you have that God wants? Your money? Yes. Your skills? Yes. Your mind? Yes. Your time? Yes. Your whole life? Yes! God wants every part of you and me. He wants us to give our lives to Him. Why should we give God everything in our lives? Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth and everything on it belong to the Lord. The world and all its people belong to him.” Everything we have, including our own lives, already belongs to God. When we give God our possessions and our lives, we are saying that we want to be His humble servants. We are telling God that we trust Him to do what is best for us. We are also saying that we want God to use us to help the church grow. When we give our lives to God, we say, “Thank You, God, for all You have given to us.” That’s the greatest Christmas gift you can ever give to God! —GT “The sacrifice that God wants is a humble spirit. God, you will not turn away a person who comes with a humble, submissive heart.” Psalm 51:17
PRAYER: Father, thank You for the things and talents You have given me. I want to use them for You. In Jesus’ name. Amen. |
