今天讀的經文中，耶穌說祂就是那個好牧人，這段經文將牧人跟一個領薪水來照顧羊群的雇工作比較。
領薪水來照顧羊群的雇工只做他該做的事，所以遇到麻煩時，他就丟下羊群跑了，他並不是真的關心牠們。但是牧人擁有羊群，他認識每一隻羊，有羊失踪時，他會馬上注意到；當有危險時，他會留在羊群身邊保護牠們。我很高興耶穌是我的牧人，我屬於祂，並且我知道祂關心我，我知道祂會保護我脫離危險。
牧人可以做的、最重要的事是為羊捨命。耶穌死在十架上時，祂為我們捨了生命，祂是如此愛我們，所以願意為我們的罪受死、受刑罰。
今天就考慮讓耶穌成為你的好牧人。要記得祂為你所成就的事，並且去向人分享這個信息。 —JK

　In our Bible Reading today, Jesus said that He is the good shepherd. These verses compare a shepherd with a worker who is paid to take care of sheep.
A worker who is paid to care for sheep does only what he must do. When trouble comes, he runs away and leaves the sheep alone. He does not really care about them. But a shepherd owns the sheep. He knows each sheep and notices when one is missing. When danger is near, he stays with the sheep to protect them. I am so glad that Jesus is my shepherd. I belong to Him, and I know He cares about me. I know He protects me from danger.
The most important thing a shepherd can do is give his life for his sheep. Jesus gave His life for us when He died on the cross. He loves us so much that He was willing to die and accept the punishment for our sins.
Think about Jesus being your good shepherd today. Remember what He does for you, and share this news with others. —JK

PRAYER: God, thank You that Jesus was willing to die for me. In His name. Amen.

　我們常常在聖誕故事裡讀到牧羊人的事蹟，在天使告訴牧羊人耶穌誕生的事後，他們就去探訪馬利亞、約瑟和嬰孩耶穌。你知道當那些牧羊人探訪嬰孩耶穌時，他們其實是在探訪另外一個牧羊人嗎？
在今天經文閱讀的第11節，耶穌說：「我是好牧人；好牧人願意為羊捨命。」耶穌出生為要成為我們的牧者，祂出生是為了引導、保護，並看顧在世上的我們。耶穌的出生也是為了讓我們看見通往天堂的路，在天堂裡，耶穌會永遠照顧我們！
當我們成為基督徒後，我們可以經歷好牧人耶穌的引導、保護和看顧。如果你還不是基督徒，就請求耶穌赦免你的罪、遵行並服從祂在聖經中的命令，然後歡迎耶穌進入你的生命，這樣祂就會歡迎你進入祂的家庭。 —GT

　We often read about the shepherds in the Christmas story. After the angel told the shepherds about Jesus’ birth, they visited Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. Did you know that when those shepherds visited baby Jesus they were visiting another shepherd?
Jesus said in verse 11 of our Bible Reading for today, “I am the good shepherd, and the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.” Jesus was born to be our Shepherd. He was born to guide us, protect us and care for us while we are here on earth. Jesus was also born to show us the way to heaven. In heaven, Jesus will take care of us forever!
When we become Christians, we can experience the guidance, protection and care of Jesus, the Good Shepherd. If you are not a Christian, ask Jesus to forgive your sins. Follow and obey His commands in the Bible. Welcome Jesus into your life, and He will welcome you into His family. —GT
