聖經閱讀：哥林多前書9:23-27 現代中譯本|合和本

　我會欣賞四年一次的奧運比賽轉播，這些參賽的運動員所經歷過的訓練總是讓我感到驚奇，男選手和女選手都很努力來達到最好的體態，他們每個人都想要得到金牌。
在今天閱讀的經文中，保羅談到賽跑跟獎賞，保羅說，運動員接受訓練來得獎，然而這個獎是「會朽壞的華冠；但是我們所求的卻是那不朽的冠冕」
（第25b節）。什麼獎賞會是永遠不朽的呢？這個獎賞比金牌還有價值，就是與上帝共享永生！
就像運動員為了參加奧運接受訓練一樣，基督徒也要操練自己有節制的能力而更像耶穌，這樣的操練要每天進行而且不可以放棄，一定要一直專注在那天上的獎賞上。

　Every four years I watch the Olympics on TV. I am always amazed by all the training the athletes go through so that they can compete in the games. These men and women work very hard to get their bodies in the best shape possible. They each try to win a gold medal.
In our Bible Reading today, Paul talks about running a race and getting the prize. Paul says that athletes train and win a prize. This prize is “one that doesn't last. But our prize is one that will last forever” (verse 25b). What is this prize that will last forever? The prize is much better than a gold medal. It is eternal life with God!
Just as an athlete trains for the Olympics, Christians need to train themselves to have self-control and to be like Jesus. This training must happen every day. And they must not give up. They must keep focused on the prize of heaven.
Do you want to receive the prize of eternal life with God? Be like Jesus today! —CS

PRAYER: Father, I pray that You will be with me today and help me be like Jesus. In His name. Amen.

　你曾經參加過體育隊伍嗎？也許你會玩美式足球、打棒球、排球或踢足球，你大概會努力加強體能，然後跟你的隊友進行很多場比賽，你的目標是要贏得冠軍。
在今天的經文閱讀中，保羅談到在運動上賽跑，他知道要參加賽跑的人會在比賽前訓練好幾個月，他們渴望能第一個通過終點、贏得比賽。 就像受訓的賽跑選手一樣，基督徒跟上帝的關係一定要成長茁壯，一定要天天認真跟隨並遵從耶穌，目標就是要得到與上帝永遠同住的獎賞。
耶穌為你死在十架上，好讓你可以永遠與上帝同住。所以今天就開始「基督徒的賽跑」！要渴望贏得永生的獎賞，要快跑得勝！ —MC*

Run to Win!

　Have you ever played on a sports team? Maybe you played football, basketball, volleyball or soccer. Probably you worked hard to develop your body's strength. Then you played many games with your teammates. Your goal was to win the championship.
In our Bible Reading today, Paul talked about running in a race. He knew that people who competed in a race trained for many months before the race. Their desire was to cross the finish line first and win the race. Just as a runner trains for a race, Christians must grow stronger in their relationship with God. They must be serious about following and obeying Jesus every day. Their goal should be to receive the prize of living forever with God.
Jesus died on the cross for you so that you can live forever with God. So start running the Christian race today! Look forward to winning the prize of eternal life. Run to win! —MC*

亞伯拉罕的獎賞

　上帝因著亞伯拉罕的信心而獎賞他，亞伯拉罕成為一個非常、非常富有的人（創世記13:2），但是上帝預備好要賜給你的奬賞就跟亞伯拉罕所領受、最好的奬賞一樣──如果你對祂忠心的話。
今天經文閱讀的第10b節說明了這個最好的獎賞：「因為亞伯拉罕盼望著那座上帝所設計建造、根基永固的城。」這座城就是我們經常說的「天堂」。

希伯來書第11章跟我們談到其他忠心的人，第13a節說「這些人是至死有信心的人」。聖經說這些以忠心聞名的人還沒有領受上帝的大獎賞，這個大獎賞就是跟上帝共享永生。如果我們對上帝忠心，就會跟著這些忠心的人領受那份大獎賞（希伯來書11:39-40）。
如果你持續對上帝忠心，祂已經為你預備了一個令人興奮的未來！ —DK

Abraham's Reward
Bible Reading: Hebrews 11:8-12

　God rewarded Abraham for his faith. Abraham became very, very wealthy (Genesis 13:2). But the best reward that Abraham received is the same reward that God has for you, if you are faithful to Him.
Verse 10b of our Bible Reading explains about the best reward. Abraham “was waiting for the city that is planned and built by God.” That city is what we often call heaven.

Hebrews 11 tells about other faithful people. Verse 13a says, “All those great men continued living with faith until they died.” The Bible says that these faithful people were known for their faith, but they had not yet received God's great promise. The great promise is eternal life with God. If we are faithful, we will receive the great promise along with these faithful people (Hebrews 11:39-40).
God has an exciting future for you if you continue to be faithful to Him! —DK
