聖經閱讀：創世記32:24-32 現代中譯本|合和本

昨天我們談到雅各的故事，以及他對上帝的忠心。今天讀的經文告訴我們雅各的另一個經歷。
「自己一個人留在後面。有一個人來跟雅各摔角，一直搏鬥到天快亮的時候」（第24節），然後雅各說：「我面對面見了上帝，仍然活著！」（第30b節）上帝將雅各的名字改為「以色列」並賜給他很多兒女和孫兒女，這些子孫便成了以色列民族。
雅各一生中遇到了許多苦難，我們也是一樣，會在人世經歷許多事情，有好日子，也有不好的日子，但是我們可以知道上帝會與我們同在，幫助我們經歷所有的事情。
今天就想一想雅各的事蹟，上帝與他同在，上帝也會與你同在！要讚美祂的慈愛和庇護。—PD*

禱告：親愛的天父，無論今天我遭遇什麼事，我知道祢會與我同在，謝謝祢！奉耶穌的名，阿們！

　Yesterday we talked about Jacob and his faithfulness to God. Our Bible verses today tell us about another experience that Jacob had.
“Jacob was left alone, and a man came and wrestled with him. The man fought with him until the sun came up” (verse 24). Later Jacob said, “At this place, I saw God face to face, but my life was spared” (verse 30b). God changed Jacob's name to Israel, and gave him many children and grandchildren. These descendants became the nation of Israel.
Jacob faced some difficult times in his life. We, too, will experience many things as we live here on earth. Some days will be good, and some days will be bad. But we can know that God will be with us and help us through all these experiences.
Think about Jacob today. God was with Him, and God will be with you, too! Praise Him for His love and protection. —PD*

PRAYER: Dear Father, no matter what I face today, I know that You will be with me. Thank You! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
