小心！
聖經閱讀：哥林多前書10:12-13 現代中譯本|合和本

在我的窗戶外面，有幾隻鴿子正在吃飼料，當有一隻貓慢慢接近牠們時，我留心看著。鴿子並不知道那隻貓已經接近了，這時我敲敲窗戶，想要嚇跑鴿子，但是牠們不理會我的警告。 　彼得前書5:8告訴我們：「要警醒戒備！你們的仇敵—魔鬼正像咆哮的獅子走來走去，搜索可吞吃的人。」魔鬼就像窗戶外的那隻貓，在我們沒有防備時，牠就會悄悄接近、然後突然抓住我們。 　今天的經文閱讀告訴我們一些好消息。首先，這些經文提醒我們要小心、不要屈服於誘惑。其次，13b節說：「上帝絕不讓你們遭遇到無力抵抗的試探。當試探來的時候，他會給你們力量，使你們擔當得起，替你們打開一條出路。」 　今天就持守剛強來抗拒魔鬼和牠的誘惑！ —NM 「所以，你們要順服上帝；要抗拒魔鬼，魔鬼就會逃避。」 雅各書4:7 禱告：天父，謝謝祢幫助我持守剛強來抗拒魔鬼。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (江惠蓉譯)

Some doves were eating bird seed outside my window. I watched as a cat slowly moved toward them. The doves were not aware that the cat was close. I knocked on the window, trying to scare the doves away. But they ignored my warning. 　1 Peter 5:8 tells us, “Control yourselves and be careful! The devil is your enemy, and he goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to attack and eat.” The devil is like that cat outside my window. The devil tries to sneak up on us and catch us when we are not prepared. 　Our Bible Reading today has good news for us. First, these verses remind us to be careful and not give in to temptations. Second, verse 13b says that God “will not let you be tempted more than you can bear. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that temptation. Then you will be able to endure it.” 　Stand strong against the devil and his temptations today! —NM “So give yourselves to God. Stand against the devil, and he will run away from you.” James 4:7 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for helping me stand strong against the devil. In Jesus' name. Amen.
