聖經閱讀：馬太福音6:5-15 現代中譯本|合和本

　最近我跟父親談論不同的禱告形式，我們談到禱告的長短、要使用高雅的話來禱告，還是用平常的話？ 後來，我的朋友跟我談論要在什麼時候禱告？我們是不是只在行程有空檔時才禱告？或者我們應該隨時向上帝禱告呢？
今天讀的經文幫助我們回答這些問題，在這些經文中，耶穌給門徒一個禱告的範例，耶穌列出我們要放在禱告中的事項──上帝的國度、每日的飲食、赦罪和試探，耶穌還說，在我們禱告時要有卑謙和寬恕的態度。
這個星期，我要挑戰你的禱告生活，請花一些時間向上帝禱告，感謝祂、跟祂訴說祢的需求。你一定要每天跟上帝連結。 —KG

「你禱告的時候，要進你的內室，關上門，向在隱密中的天父禱告。那位看得見你在隱密中做事的天父一定會獎賞你。」 馬太福音6:6

　My friend and I recently talked about different kinds of prayers. We discussed if we should pray long prayers or short prayers, prayers with fancy language or prayers with everyday language. Then my friend and I talked about when we should pray. Should we just pray whenever it fits our schedule? Or should we always be in an attitude of praying to God?
Our Bible Reading today helps us answer these questions. In these verses, Jesus gave His disciples an example of how they should pray. Jesus listed things that we should pray about — God's kingdom, the food we eat each day, forgiveness of sins and temptation. And Jesus also talked about having an attitude of humility and forgiveness as we pray.
I challenge you this week to think about your prayer life. Take time to praise God, thank Him and share your needs. Be sure that you are connected to God every day. —KG

“But when you pray, you should go into your room and close the door. Then pray to your Father. He is there in that private place. He can see what is done in private, and he will reward you.” Matthew 6:6
