權柄

當耶穌在世上講道的時候，許多人對祂說的話感到訝異，他們驚訝耶穌說的話帶有權柄。當祂叫邪靈離開時，牠就馬上離開了！當耶穌叫那個痲瘋病人伸出手時，那人就聽從並得到了醫治！ 　耶穌是從哪裡得到權柄的呢？是上帝賜給了耶穌在世上行善事的權柄。在經文的第18節，耶穌說：「上帝已經把天上和人間所有的權柄都賜給我了。」然後耶穌接著命令祂的門徒：「你們要去，使萬國萬民都作我的門徒」（第19a節）。 　因為我們都是耶穌的門徒，所以這個命令也是對我們說的。如果你是一個基督徒，那麼向人傳講耶穌就是你的工作。然後你必須為這些人施洗（第19b節），並且教導他們遵守耶穌的命令（第20a節）。 　也許你今天會有機會向人傳講耶穌，不要害怕！只要遵守耶穌的命令。 —MS 「記住！我要常與你們同在，直到世界的末日。」 馬太福音28:20b 禱告：上帝，今天當我向人分享耶穌的福音時，請幫助我。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (林煜茹譯)

When Jesus preached on earth, many people were surprised by what He said. They were surprised that Jesus spoke with authority. When He told an evil spirit to leave, it left right away! When Jesus told the man with leprosy to hold out his hand, the man obeyed and he was healed! 　Where did Jesus get His authority? God gave Jesus the authority to do good things on earth. In verse 18 of our Bible Reading, Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth is given to me.” Then Jesus continued to command His followers to “go and make followers of all people in the world” (verse 19a). 　Because we are Jesus’ followers, this command is for us, too. If you are a Christian, it is your job to tell other people about Jesus. Then you need to baptize these people (verse 19b) and teach them to obey Jesus’ commands, too (verse 20a). 　Today you may have an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus. Don’t be afraid! Obey Jesus’ command. —MS “You can be sure that I will be with you always.
