今天的聖經閱讀告訴我們關於耶穌再來時的情形，這些經節讓我想起了一首名叫「若今日來」的老歌。這首歌談到耶穌即將再來並提了這個問題：「若耶穌今日來如何？」 　這首歌的下一個部份說，當耶穌再來時，將會是美好的日子，基督徒會很開心，而耶穌會戴冠冕為王。但是，未信主的人到時候會怎樣呢？對他們來說，耶穌的再來將不會有好的感受，他們將會面臨審判並與上帝永遠隔絕。 　當耶穌來時，我願能作好準備，我願能和祂永遠同住。但是在這期間，我必須成為耶穌的見證人，我必須去向人傳揚祂的福音，我也必須鼓勵其他基督徒持守信心，直到耶穌再來。 　也許今天耶穌就會回來接走祂的信徒去與祂永遠同住。你是否準備好了呢？—NW 「因此，你們要互相鼓勵，彼此幫助，像你們現在所做的一樣。」 帖撒羅尼迦前書5:11 禱告：天父，我一直期待著耶穌再來的日子。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Jesus’ Return

Our Bible Reading today tells us about the time when Jesus will return. These verses remind me of an old song called “What If It Were Today?” This song talks about Jesus coming again and then asks the question, “What if Jesus comes today?” 　The next part of the song says that it will be wonderful when Jesus comes again. Christians will be happy, and Jesus will be crowned king. But what about people who are not Christians? Jesus’ return will not be a good experience for them. They will face judgment and eternal separation from God. 　I want to be ready when Jesus comes. I want to live forever with Him. But in the meantime, I need to be a witness for Jesus. I need to tell other people about Him. I also need to encourage other Christians to stay faithful until Jesus returns. 　Jesus may come today to take His followers to live with Him forever. Are you ready? —NW “So encourage each other and help each other grow stronger in faith, just as you are already doing.”1 Thessalonians 5:11 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I always look forward to the time when Jesus will come again.
