得赦免的喜悅
聖經閱讀：詩篇32:1-11 現代中譯本|合和本

許多年前，我欠我的醫生很多錢，有很長的一段時間我都付不出這筆欠款。有一天，我進到醫生的辦公室、打開支票本，我已準備好要償還這筆債務，但是那裡的職員卻告訴我，我的欠款已經完全付清了。我不知道是誰幫我還清了欠債，但那時我高興地哭了！ 　詩篇第32篇的作者很高興上帝赦免了他的罪，第2b節說：「…不被上主定罪的人，他是多麼有福啊！」，這就好像有人在我的醫療帳單上蓋下「完全付清！」這幾個字。 　第5-7節經文提醒我們，當我們忽視自己的罪時我們會很痛苦，我們會「像水氣在盛暑中蒸發」(第4b節)。因此，我們需要向上帝承認自己的罪，並且不再隱藏我們的過犯，這樣我們才能帶著快樂的眼淚歡呼。 　因我們的罪所欠下的債，我們償還不起，唯一可以讓我們的罪得赦免的方法是藉著耶穌的死。今天，就向上帝承認你的罪，並且接受祂藉著愛子耶穌所賜下的救恩。—ES 「你們義人應當靠耶和華歡喜快樂，你們心裏正直的人，都當歡呼。」 詩篇32:11 禱告：上帝，感謝祢讓耶穌為我們還清了罪債。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (SDL譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

The Joy of Forgiveness

Many years ago, I owed a lot of money to my doctor. For a long time, I could not pay the bill. Then one day I went to the doctor’s office. I had my checkbook open, and I was ready to pay my bill. But the clerk told me that my bill had been paid in full. I did not know who had paid my bill, but I was so happy that I cried! 　The writer of Psalm 32 is happy that God forgives his sins. Verse 2b says, “...the Lord says they are not guilty.” That is like someone stamping these words on my doctor bill: PAID IN FULL! 　Verses 5-7 remind us that we are miserable when we ignore our sins. We become “like a dry land in the hot summertime” (verse 4b). We need to confess our sins to God and stop hiding our guilt. Then we can rejoice with tears of happiness. 　We cannot pay the debt that we owe because of our sins. The only way to have our sins forgiven is through the death of Jesus. Confess your sins to God today, and accept His gift of salvation through Jesus, His Son. —ES “Good people, rejoice and be very happy in the Lord. All you who want to do right, rejoice!” Psalm 32:11 PRAYER: God, thank You that Jesus paid the debt for our sins. In His name. Amen.
