Footprints
Bible Reading: Ephesians 4:17-32
Tuesday, February 9, 2016

This morning when I went outside with my dogs, there was snow on the ground. I looked down and noticed footprints. I could see deer prints, rabbit prints and bird prints. Then I looked back and saw my own prints and my dogs' prints.
This made me think about the footprints that we leave in our lives. I don't mean actual footprints on the ground. I mean those things we do that people notice. Do we leave footprints of anger, bitterness, quarreling and harsh words? Or do we show forgiveness, compassion and kindness?

Our Bible verses today tell us that we should live like Jesus lived. “You were taught to leave your old self. This means that you must stop living the evil way you lived before” (verse 22a). Paul goes on to list several things that we should stop doing if we want to be like Jesus.
Spend some time today reading the Bible and learning more about Jesus. Then decide to be like Him! —SQ

“So I am not the one living now — it is Christ living in me...He is the one who loved me and gave himself to save me.” Galatians 2:20
PRAYER: Dear God, help me to become more like Jesus . In His name. Amen.
