Lessons from Mark (2)
Bible Reading: Mark 6:7-13
Sunday, February 14, 2016

When Jesus sent out the apostles, He reminded them that some people would not pay attention to their message. “If any town refuses to accept you or refuses to listen to you, then leave that town and shake the dust off your feet as a warning to them” (verse 11).
I asked one of my Christian friends what he had learned from the Bible recently. My friend looked down and confessed that he had not been reading his Bible. This friend is home much of the day and has very little work to do. But he does not take the time to read his Bible.
Today God speaks to us in many ways — through other Christians, prayer groups, Bible studies and times of fellowship. But many people are not paying attention to God's message.
Make sure that you are paying attention to God's message every day. Look for opportunities to read and study the Bible and fellowship with other Christians. —SH*

Yes, the minds of these people are now closed. They have ears, but they don't listen. They have eyes, but they refuse to see.” Matthew 13:15a
PRAYER: Father, thank You for giving me so many ways to receive Your message. Help me to stay close to You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
