重要的工作

今天的經文告訴我們初代教會的一個問題。當時，有一些寡婦沒有得到足夠的食物，所以使徒們就揀選了七個人來確保寡婦都有足夠的食物。 　在初代教會，人們做很多不同的工作，有些人禱告、教導上帝的話語，其他人則幫助寡婦，還有一些人去預備大家共享的餐點。所有這些工作都很重要，也幫助教會增長。 　現今，上帝的教會也是這樣。有些人講道或教導，其他人在教會的育嬰室幫忙，還有一些人去幫助病人或監獄的受刑人。所有這些工作對上帝的國度都同等重要。 　每一個基督徒都必須在他們的教會有一份事工。祈求上帝幫助你找到一個服事別人的方法，然後在你服事的時候，求祂用祂的愛和智慧充滿你。 —SH* 「上帝的信息繼續傳開；在耶路撒冷的門徒數目增加很多」 使徒行傳6:7a 禱告：天父，求祢用祢的愛和智慧充滿我，並幫助我去服事其他人。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (王亭惠譯)

Our Bible Reading today tells us about a problem in the early church. Some of the widows were not getting enough food. So the apostles chose seven men to make sure that the widows had enough food. 　People did many different jobs in the early church. Some prayed and taught God’s Word. Others helped with the widows. And some prepared the meals that they shared together. All of these jobs were important and helped the church to grow. 　It is the same with God’s church today. Some people preach or teach. Others help in the church nursery. And some help people who are sick or in prison. All of these jobs are equally important for God’s kingdom. 　Every Christian needs to have a job in their local church. Ask God to help you find a way to serve others. Then ask Him to fill you with His love and wisdom as you serve. —SH* “The word of God was reaching more and more people.
