今天的經文提醒我們禱告是一件滿有能力的事，並且上帝會回應禱告！彼得再次被捉拿、被關進監獄裡，他被兩條鐵鍊綁住並且被嚴加看管。在他睡覺時，有兩個士兵守在他旁邊，其他的士兵則看守監獄的門。彼得要逃離監獄幾乎是不可能的事！ 　一群基督徒正在為彼得禱告，而上帝也回應了他們的禱告！上帝差派了一個天使帶領彼得逃離監獄，上帝將彼得從那些猶太領袖計劃要對他做的壞事中拯救出來。彼得去到約翰的母親馬利亞的家中，在那裡的基督徒都看見了上帝如何回應他們的禱告！彼得告訴他們上帝的天使如何將他帶出監獄。 　要記得，禱告是一件滿有能力的事，也要記得上帝總是會回應禱告！當上帝回應了你的禱告時，你要去告訴別人上帝所成就的事。－CPE* 「彼得做手勢，叫他們安靜下來，向他們解釋主怎樣帶他出了監獄。」 使徒行傳12:17a 禱告：上帝，謝謝祢提醒我要禱告，並且要相信祢會回應我的禱告。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (林威妮譯)

Today’s Bible Reading reminds us that praying is a powerful thing to do and that God answers prayers! Peter was arrested and put in jail again. He was bound with two chains and heavily guarded. Two soldiers were next to Peter while he was sleeping, and other soldiers guarded the jail door. It seems like it would be impossible for Peter to escape from jail! 　A group of Christians were praying for Peter. And God answered their prayers! God sent an angel to lead Peter out of jail. God rescued Peter from the bad things that the Jewish leaders were planning to do to him. Peter went to the home of Mary, the mother of John. The Christians there saw how God had answered their prayers! Peter told them how God’s angel had brought him out of jail. 　Remember that praying is a powerful thing to do. And remember that God always answers prayer! When God answers your prayers, tell others what God has done. —CPE* “Peter made a sign with his hand to tell them to be quiet.
