幾天前我們談到了西門，他是一個會變魔術並行邪術的人。西門看到彼得和約翰把上帝特別的能力給了撒馬利亞的基督徒，他就想要花錢向彼得和約翰買上帝的能力。 　西門並不了解上帝的能力，彼得對西門說：「你在我們的工作上沒有份；因為在上帝面前，你的心術不正」（第21節）。接著彼得告訴西門，他如何能跟上帝有合宜的關係：「你要悔改，離棄邪惡」（第22a節）。 　也許今天你正在跟生命中的某個罪惡爭戰，也許你明白自己已成為那個罪惡的奴僕。不要放棄！就聽從彼得的勸告——要悔改、要離棄你的罪。 　今天就倚靠上帝來改變你的心，要謙卑，讓上帝來幫助你、塑造你，祂會除去你的罪並幫助你站立得穩。 －DJH* 「求你除掉我的罪，使我潔淨；求你洗滌我，使我比雪更白。上帝啊，求你為我造一顆純潔的心；求你賜給我一個又新又忠誠的靈。」 詩篇51:7,10 禱告：上帝，我要向祢承認我的罪，求祢赦免我並使我再次潔淨。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (林威妮譯)

A couple of days ago we talked about Simon. He was a man who practiced magic and sorcery. Simon saw Peter and John give the Christians in Samaria God’s special power. Simon wanted to give Peter and John money to buy God’s power. 　Simon did not understand God’s power. Peter told Simon, “You cannot share with us in this work. Your heart is not right before God” (verse 21). Then Peter told Simon how he could be right with God. “Change your heart! Turn away from these evil thoughts” (verse 22a). 　Maybe you are struggling with some sin in your life today. Maybe you realize that you have become a slave to that sin. Don’t give up! Follow Peter’s advice — change your heart and turn away from your sin. 　Rely on God to change your heart today. Be humble and let God help you and mold you. He will remove your sin and help you stand strong. —DJH* “Remove my sin and make me pure. Wash me until I am whiter than snow!
