今天的經文告訴我們撒該的故事。撒該是猶太人，卻幫羅馬政府收稅，而大部分的猶太稅吏都不誠實，他們收了稅金之後會留一些錢給自己。身為猶太人，撒該一定有學過上帝的律法，他知道不誠實是錯誤的。 　有一天，耶穌來到撒該的家鄉，撒該對耶穌說：「主啊，我要把我財產的一半分給窮人；如果我欺詐過誰，我就還他四倍。」(第8節) 撒該悔改了，他從不誠實變為一個誠實的人。 　我曾經吸毒和販毒，我就像撒該一樣不誠實。當時我的生活一團亂，並且失去所有的一切，最後，我決定改變我的心，讓耶穌成為我生命的主人和救助者並且跟從祂。 　 而你呢？你需要求上帝赦免你的罪嗎？今天就歸向祂吧！祂愛你並且會赦免你的罪。—DG* 「今天救恩來到這一家了，…人子來是要尋找和拯救迷失的人。」 路加福音19:9b-10 禱告：上帝，謝謝祢藉著主耶穌赦免我。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (SSL譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

Our Bible Reading today tells us about Zacchaeus. He was a Jew, but he collected taxes for the Roman government. Most Jewish tax collectors were dishonest. They collected taxes and kept some of the money for themselves. As a Jew, Zacchaeus would have learned God’s law. He knew it was wrong to be dishonest. 　One day Jesus came to Zacchaeus’ town. Zacchaeus told Jesus, “I want to do good. I will give half of my money to the poor. If I have cheated anyone, I will pay them back four times more” (verse 8). Zacchaeus repented. He changed from being dishonest to being honest. 　Once I was involved in using and selling drugs. I was dishonest, like Zacchaeus. My life was messed up, and I lost everything. Finally, I decided to change my heart and follow Jesus as my Lord and Savior. 　What about you? Do you need to ask God to forgive your sins? Turn to Him today.
