Bible Reading: Acts 28:16-31
Wednesday, March 2, 2016

Finally Paul reached the city of Rome. Paul was a prisoner. Our Bible Reading tells us that in Rome “Paul was allowed to live alone. But a soldier stayed with him to guard him” (verse 16b).
It was God's plan for Paul to be in Rome. Even though Paul was a prisoner, he continued to share about Jesus with the people he met. Paul did not let his circumstances keep him from talking about Jesus. Verses 30 and 31 say, “Paul stayed two full years in his own rented house. He welcomed all the people who came and visited him. He told them about God's kingdom and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ. He was very bold, and no one tried to stop him from speaking.”

Maybe you are facing bad circumstances in your life. Maybe you are sick or having family or financial problems. You can still be a missionary for Jesus. In fact, through your bad circumstances, God may help you meet people who need to know about Him. —JK

“Finally, we came to Rome. The brothers and sisters in Rome heard about us...When Paul saw these believers, he thanked God and felt encouraged.” Acts 28:14b-15
PRAYER: Dear God, no matter what happens today, please help me to share with someone about Jesus. In His name. Amen.
