聖經閱讀：約翰福音4:1-15 現代中譯本|合和本

　弗羅里達的夏天又熱又潮濕，在戶外的時候，汗水直流卻不覺得涼爽。流汗讓身體失去水份，接著身體就會讓你知道要補充水份，這個現象就叫作「口渴」。
口渴讓我想到今天閱讀的經文。當耶穌遇到一個撒馬利亞女人，他向那個女人要一杯水喝，接著耶穌告訴她：「喝了這水的人還會再渴；但是，誰喝了我所給的水，誰就永遠不再渴。我給的水要在他裡面成為泉源，不斷地湧出活水，使他得到永恆的生命」（第13-14節）。耶穌是我們生命的活水，祂透過自己賜給我們永恆的生命，而只有耶穌可以滿足我們靈性的乾渴。
今天你的靈性感到乾渴嗎？你想要跟耶穌永遠同住嗎？那麼就去認識祂並且遵行祂的教導。 —SAH

「耶穌站起來，高聲宣告說：『人要是渴了，就該到我這裡來喝。聖經上說：「那信我的人有活水的河流要從他心中湧流出來。」』」 約翰福音7:37b-38a

禱告：天父，感謝祢賜下耶穌來滿足我靈性的乾渴。奉主的名，阿們！

　During the summer it is very hot and humid in Florida. When you are outside, your body sweats but you don't feel cool. As you sweat, your body loses water. Then your body lets you know that you need more water. This is called being thirsty.
Being thirsty reminds me of our Bible verses today. Jesus met a woman from Samaria. He asked the woman to give Him a drink of water. Then Jesus told the woman, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But anyone who drinks the water I give will never be thirsty again. The water I give people will be like a spring flowing inside them. It will bring them eternal life” (verses 13-14). Jesus is our Living Water. He offers us eternal life through Him. Only Jesus can satisfy our spiritual thirst.
Are you spiritually thirsty today? Do you want to live with Jesus forever? Learn about Him and obey His teachings. —SAH

On that day Jesus stood up and said loudly, ‘Whoever is thirsty may come to me and drink. If anyone believes in me, rivers of living water will flow out from their heart.’” John 7:37b-38a

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Jesus who satisfies my spiritual thirst. In His name. Amen.
