我的一個老師曾教導我，智慧就是能夠善用知識。我們應當想要擁有智慧，但是有時人們因著錯誤的理由想要擁有智慧，他們希望別人稱讚他們。今天經文閱讀的第34節說：「求你向我解釋你的法律；我願意謹守，一心遵行。」這裡我們學到應當想要擁有智慧好讓我們可以遵行上帝的話語。我們也應該想要去了解聖經。如果你是基督徒，你應該願意順服上帝，如果你不知道應該遵守什麼教導，你就做不到這個。如果你不研讀聖經，你就不會成長為一個堅強的基督徒，你會失去成為耶穌成熟門徒的喜樂。 作為基督徒是一個令人興奮的驚奇之旅，部份的旅程就是學習更多上帝的話語。上帝的話語會幫助你成為堅強的基督徒，然後其他人會看見你而想要跟從耶穌。 —LZ* 「這世界和一切屬世的慾望都正在消逝；但是，實行上帝旨意的人要永遠生存。」 約翰一書2:17

One of my teachers taught me that wisdom means being able to use knowledge in a good way. We should want to have wisdom. But sometimes people want wisdom for the wrong reason. They want other people to praise them. Verse 34 of our Bible Reading today says, “Help me understand your teachings and I will follow them.” Here we learn that we should want to have wisdom so we can obey God’s Word. We should also want to understand the Bible. If you are a Christian, you should want to obey God. You can’t do that if you don’t know what teachings you should obey. If you don’t read and study the Bible, you will not grow to be a strong Christian. You will miss the joy of becoming a mature follower of Jesus. Being a Christian is an exciting adventure. Part of that adventure is learning more about God’s Word. God’s Word will help you become a strong Christian. Then other people will see you and want to follow Jesus. —LZ* “The world is passing away, and all the things that people want in the world are passing away.
