今天和接下來的幾天我們要來談一些我個人特別喜愛的花。我喜歡欣賞各種的花，但其中有一些是我特別喜歡的。 　玫瑰是我特別喜歡的花之一。玫瑰看起來很美，聞起來也很棒，但它們也有不好的一面。玫瑰有刺，當伸手摘玫瑰花時，我常常被它刺到。 　玫瑰就好像我們在世上的生活，玫瑰有美麗的花瓣和討厭的刺，而我們的生活有美好的時光，也有遭逢不幸的時候。在今天閱讀的經文中，保羅談到他在生活中遇到的一些事，但保羅並沒有感到不快樂，他已經學會無論生活中發生什麼事，他都感到滿足並心存感恩。 　今天你也許在生活中遇到一些困難的情形，要每天倚靠上帝來照顧你並賜給你力量！－JK 「藉著基督所賜的力量，我能夠適應任何情況。」 腓立比書4:13 禱告：天父，祢知道我今天可能會遇到一些困難，我願倚靠祢來幫助我，使我得滿足並心存感恩。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (林威妮譯)

Today and for the next few days we will talk about some of my favorite flowers. I love to look at all flowers, but there are some that I especially enjoy. 　One of my favorite flowers is a rose. Roses are wonderful to look at, and they smell wonderful. But they also have a bad side. Roses have thorns. Often I have reached out to pick a rose and been pricked by its thorns. 　Roses are like our lives here on earth. Just as roses have beautiful petals and nasty thorns, we have good times and bad times in our lives. In our Bible verse today, Paul talks about some of the things he faced in life. But Paul was not unhappy. He had learned to be satisfied and thankful, no matter what was happening in his life. 　You may be facing some difficult situations in your life today. Depend on God to take care of you and give you strength each day! —JK “Christ is the one who gives me the strength I need to do whatever I must do.” Philippians 4:13 PRAYER: Father, You know that I may face some problems today. I want to depend on You to help me be satisfied and thankful. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
