Thank Each Other
Bible Reading: Philippians 1:3-11
Thursday, November 6, 2014

Thank Each Other I am very thankful for two of my sisters in Christ. They encourage me to grow in love and knowledge of God's Word. When I think about them, I think about how God has blessed me through them.
When we pray, we usually thank God and praise Him for the blessings in our lives. But in our verses today, Paul encourages us to also thank Christian brothers and sisters who have helped us. Paul was writing to the Christians in Philippi. He told these people that he was thankful for them and that he prayed for them.
Paul continued by praying for these Christians. “This is my prayer for you: that your love will grow more and more; that you will have knowledge and understanding with your love” (verse 9). Take time today to talk with someone who has blessed you in your Christian life. Tell them, “I thank God every time I remember you” (verse 3). —DVH*
“...that you will see the difference between what is important and what is not and choose what is important; that you will be pure and blameless for the coming of Christ.” Philippians 1:10
PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for special people who show me how to follow You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
