從上帝來的力量

有時候在生活中我會遇到困難，在遭逢患難的時候，第33b節經文總是帶給我力量。在這節經文裡，耶穌說：「我把這件事告訴你們，是要使你們因跟我連結而有平安。在世上，你們有苦難；但是你們要勇敢，我已經勝過了世界！」
安妮強生在八歲時決定跟隨耶穌。廿歲時，她患了關節炎，雙親也過世了，為了生活，安妮開始為各種卡片和雜誌寫詩。在滿二十三歲前，她再也無法走路，而且只能用手指關節來打字。有一首她最喜愛的詩是這麼寫的：「上帝應許賞賜每日的力量、勞碌後的安息、路上指引的明燈、試煉中有恩典，從上頭來的幫助、永不止息的恩慈，以及永恆的愛。」
安妮強生倚靠上帝幫助自己勇敢和剛強，不管你今天面對什麼問題，上帝會幫助你並賜給你力量和安慰。 —BH

Strength from God

　Sometimes I face difficult times in my life. During those times, verse 33b always gives me strength. In that verse Jesus said, “In this world you will have troubles. But be brave! I have defeated the world!”
Annie Johnson was eight years old when she decided to follow Jesus. When Annie was twenty, she developed arthritis and her parents died. To support herself, Annie started writing poems for cards and magazines. By the time she was twenty-three, Annie could not walk anymore and she had to use her knuckles to strike the keys on her typewriter. But one of her best-loved poems contains these words: “God has promised strength for the day, rest for the labor, light for the way, grace for the trials, help from above, unfailing kindness, undying love.”
Annie Johnson depended on God to help her be brave and strong. No matter what problems you are facing today, God will help you and give you strength and comfort. —BH

“He comforts us every time we have trouble so that when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.” 2 Corinthians 1:4

PRAYER: Lord, I am so thank you for the wonderful promises. Thank for helping me today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
