基甸的信心

　希伯來書第11章列出聖經中大有信心的人物，希伯來書11:32說：「我還得說下去嗎？我沒有足夠的時間去提基甸、巴拉、參孫、耶弗他、大衛、撒母耳，和先知們的事蹟呢。」這節經文告訴我們其中一個大有信心的人是基甸。
在今天的經文閱讀中，我們讀到一個主的使者去找基甸，他告訴基甸要將以色列人從他們的仇敵米甸人的手中解救出來。基甸不認為自己能夠做到，但士師記第6和第7章告訴我們基甸遵行上帝的旨意，在上帝的幫助下，基甸和一小支軍隊就能夠擊敗米甸人。基甸一定有極大的信心，他信靠上帝來幫助他並保守他的安全。
今天你就可以像基甸一樣，相信上帝和祂在你生命中的計畫，上帝將會祝福你、照顧你。—JR*

Gideon's Faith

　Hebrews, chapter 11, lists people in the Bible who had great faith. Hebrews 11:32 says, “Do I need to give you more examples? I don't have enough time to tell you about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets.” This verse tells us that one man who had great faith was Gideon.
In our Bible verses today, we read that an angel of the Lord went to Gideon. He told Gideon to save the Israelites from their enemies, the Midianites. Gideon did not think that he was good enough to do this. But chapters 6 and 7 of Judges tell us that Gideon obeyed God. With God's help, Gideon and a small army were able to defeat the Midianites. Gideon must have had great faith. He trusted God to help him and keep him safe.
You can be like Gideon today. Put your faith in God and His plan for your life. God will bless you and take care of you. —JR*
