奧林匹克運動會舉行時，來自許多不同國家的人都會來看代表自己國家的運動員，不能參與的人就在電視上觀看這場盛會。這些隊伍讓我們知道，同心協力對人們來說是多麼重要。在今天的經文中，保羅鼓勵在腓立比的基督徒。在第27b節，保羅說：「我會知道你們抱著共同的目標，堅定不移，同心協力為福音的信仰爭戰。」 當耶穌在世上時，祂揀選了一個十二人的團隊來進行祂的事工，耶穌訓練他們出去傳講關於祂的信息。今天的教會也是一個團隊，上帝希望每個人都是祂團隊的一份子。 身為上帝團隊的成員，我們不是要去比賽，或是努力去贏得一面金牌，我們是要去把失喪的人帶回到耶穌面前。今天就參與上帝的團隊吧！ －PD 「以和平彼此聯繫，盡力保持聖靈所賜合一的心。」 以弗所書4:3

Join God’s Team!
Bible Reading: Philippians 1:27-30

When the Olympic Games are held, people from many different countries come to watch the athletes representing their country. People who cannot attend watch the events on television. These teams show us how important it is for people to work together. In our Bible Reading today, Paul encouraged the Christians in Philippi. In verse 27b Paul said, “I will know that you stand together with the same purpose and that you work together like a team to help others believe the Good News.” When Jesus was on earth, He chose a team of twelve men to carry on His work. Jesus trained them to go out and teach about Him. Today the church is a team, too. God wants everyone to be part of His team. As a member of God’s team, we are not playing a game or trying to win a gold medal. We are working to bring lost people to Jesus. Be a part of God’s team today. —PD “You are joined together with peace through the Spirit. Do all you can to continue as you are, letting peace hold you together.” Ephesians 4:3
PRAYER: Father, I want to work with other Christians to share the news about Jesus. In His name. Amen. |
