在上帝的軍裝中，保羅列出的第二件是「以正義作護胸甲」（第14b節），這個好比是軍人穿在身上、覆蓋住胸部的保護。 　為什麼軍人必須保護他的胸部呢？胸部是身體很多重要器官所在的地方，如果一個士兵的胸部受了傷，他大概活不了。 　「正義」的意思是決定要順服上帝的命令，並且在我們的心中持守祂的話語。「正義」保護我們不會做錯誤的選擇、不會犯罪違背上帝。如果我們決定要活出正義的生命，我們就會成為誠實、良善、謙卑和公正的人。 　魔鬼會引誘你不順服上帝。今天就穿上正義的護胸甲來抵擋魔鬼。 —CE 「你們原是在黑暗中，可是自從成為主的信徒，你們就在光明中。你們的生活必須像光明的人。光明結出一切豐盛的果實，就是良善，正義，和真理。」 以弗所書5:8-9 禱告：天父，我願取悅祢並且活在正義當中，求祢今天幫助我順服祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (呂心愉譯)

The next piece of God's armor that Paul lists is “the protection of right living” (verse 14b). This is compared to the protection that a soldier wore to cover his chest. 　Why would a soldier need to protect his chest? The chest is where many of the body's important organs are located. If a soldier was wounded in the chest, he would probably die. 　Right living means choosing to obey God's commands and keeping His Word in our hearts. Right living protects us from making wrong choices and sinning against God. If we choose to live the right way, we will be honest, good, humble and fair. 　The devil will tempt you to not obey God. Wear the protection of right living and resist the devil today. —CE “In the past you were full of darkness, but now you are full of light in the Lord. So live like children who belong to the light. This light produces every kind of goodness, right living, and truth.” Ephesians 5:8-9 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I want to please You and live right. Help me to obey You today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
