「盼望」的另一個定義是「事情將有最美好結局的感覺」，這一點對基督徒來說是重要的。擁有這樣的盼望是重要的，這樣的盼望代表我們知道，無論發生什麼事，上帝都掌權。因為上帝掌管我們生命中發生的大小事，我們知道所有事都將會有最美好的結局。 　也許在你的生命中你正經歷一些挑戰，事情並沒有照你希望的方式來發展，你也許會認為或感覺事情不會被解決。今天我們閱讀的經文鼓勵我們要記得「上帝使萬事互相效力，叫愛上帝的人…得益處」(第28a節)。 　不要放棄，也不要失去盼望，要持續愛上帝、相信上帝。時時提醒自己，要「知道」上帝會按著「祂的」方式和時間來解決事情，並且要記得上帝的計畫和祂所訂的時間都是最棒的！。—CPE* 「我們知道，上帝使萬事互相效力，叫愛上帝的人─就是他按照自己的旨意呼召的人都得益處。」 羅馬書8:28 禱告：上帝，我將自己的盼望交託給祢，我知道?的計畫永遠是最棒的。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (EHI譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

Another definition for hope is “the feeling that events will turn out for the best.” This is important for Christians. It is important to have this kind of hope. This hope means we know that no matter what happens, God is in control. Because God is in control of the things that happen in our lives, we know they will turn out for the best. 　Maybe you are going through some challenging times in your life. Things are not going the way you want. You might think or feel like things will not work out. Our Bible Reading today encourages us to remember that “in everything God works for the good of those who love him” (verse 28a). 　Don’t give up. Don’t lose hope. Continue to love and trust God. Remind yourself to KNOW that God will work things out according to HIS way and time. And remember that God’s plan and time are always best! —CPE* “We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan.” Romans 8:28 PRAYER: God, I put my hope in You. I know that Your plan is always the best. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
