聖經閱讀：馬太福音25:34-40

 我的奶奶是個非常仁慈、有愛心的人。記得我小時候，奶奶接她的父母來跟她一起住。她的父母年紀很大，身體狀況也不好，但是奶奶想要照顧他們。有時候，我的曾祖父母會感覺不舒服、會鬧彆扭，但是，奶奶對他們仍然很有耐心。她會為他們準備健康的飲食，並且確定他們足夠暖和及舒適，奶奶完全表現出對父母親的愛。 今天的經文裡，耶穌說了個故事，祂告訴我們上帝非常喜悅內心仁慈並且會照顧別人的人。當我們幫助生病的人，或者把食物和衣服分享給別人，我們就是把這些事做在耶穌身上了。 你知道今天有誰需要幫助嗎？不要只是對他們說你愛他們，想一些方法來表現你對他們的愛。 —CW* 「孩子們，我們的愛不應該只是口頭上的愛，必須是真實的愛，用行為證明出來！」約翰一書3:18 禱告：天父，我願意今天就服事人，請告訴我如何愛他們。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (林淑熹譯/台南聖教會英語團契) |

| My grandmother was a very kind and caring person. I remember when I was young, Grandma brought her parents to live with her. Her parents were very old and in poor health. But Grandma wanted to take care of them. Sometimes my great-grandparents were grouchy and didn’t feel well. But Grandma was very patient with them. She prepared healthy meals for her parents and made sure that they were warm and comfortable. Grandma really showed that she loved her parents. In our Bible Reading today, Jesus told a story about how God is pleased with people who are kind and take care of others. When we help sick people or give food and clothes, we are doing those things for Jesus. Do you know someone who needs help today? Don’t just tell them that you love them. Think of ways that you can show them your love. —CW* “My children, our love should not be only words and talk. No! Our love must be true love. We should show our love by the things we do.” 1 John 3:18 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I want to serve other people today. Show me how I can love them. In Jesus’ name. Amen. |
