走進光中

當伊麗莎的脊椎受傷時，她只有36歲，她必須穿著重重的石膏護具躺在床上。六個月後，伊麗莎第一次被允許走出戶外，那時是春天，陽光明亮耀眼。 　在臥床的期間，伊麗莎查考了以弗所書5:8：「你們原是在黑暗中，可是自從成為主的信徒，你們就在光明中。你們的生活必須像光明的人。」在走出戶外後，伊麗莎根據這節經文寫了一首讚美的詩歌，其中的一些歌詞是：「跟隨救贖者的腳步是多麼美好。走進光中、走進光中。」 　伊麗莎行走在溫暖的陽光中，而身為基督徒，我們必須行走在耶穌的光中。我們必須讓人知道，我們跟從耶穌並想要在這個罪惡的黑暗世界中作光。 　今天就為耶穌發光。—BH （耶穌說）「我是世界的光；跟從我的，會得著生命的光，絕不會在黑暗裏走。」 約翰福音8:12b 禱告：主，我願跟從祢並且帶領人進入祢的光中。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (林煜茹譯)

Eliza Hewitt was only thirty-six years old when she injured her spine. She had to lie in bed with a heavy cast on her back. After six months, Eliza was allowed to walk outside for the first time. It was springtime, and the sun was shining brightly. 　During her time in bed, Eliza had studied Ephesians 5:8, “In the past you were full of darkness, but now you are full of light in the Lord. So live like children who belong to the light.” After her walk outside, Eliza wrote a song of praise based on that verse. Some of the words of this song are: “How beautiful to walk in the steps of the Savior, stepping in the light, stepping in the light.” 　Eliza walked in the warmth of the sunshine. As Christians, we need to walk in the light of Jesus. We need to show other people that we follow Jesus and that we want to be lights in the dark world of sin. 　Shine your light for Jesus today. —BH [Jesus said,] “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never live in darkness. They will have the light that gives life.” John 8:12b PRAYER: Lord, I want to follow You and lead others to Your light. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
