我喜歡看西部老片，有時候故事是關於一些人，他們想要移居到美國西部的新家園。拓荒者常常會獨自前往一個新的地方，當在預備新家時，他會先留下家人。拓荒者會先買土地，然後為家人蓋房子。有時候，他會寫信給家人，努力地描述他為家人預備新家的狀況，家人會佷興奮知道他將回來帶他們去新的家園。 在今天的經文中，耶穌告訴祂的門徒，祂即將離去並為他們預備一個地方：「在我父親家裏有許多住的地方，我去是為你們預備地方；若不是這樣，我就不說這話。」 (第2節) 耶穌正在為我們預備一個特別的居所，祂曾應許要再回來並帶我們到那個地方，這樣我們就可以在那裡與祂永遠同住。我希望你對耶穌的再來會感到興奮！—PD 「我去為你們預備地方以後，要再回來，接你們到我那裏去，為要使你們跟我同在一個地方。」 約翰福音14:3

Jesus is Coming Back!

I love to watch old western movies. Sometimes the story is about people who wanted to move to a new home in the west. Often the pioneer man went alone to a new place. He left his family behind while he prepared a new home. The man purchased land and built a house for his family. Sometimes the man would write a letter to his family and try to describe the home he was preparing for them. The family was excited to know that he was coming back to take them to their new home. In our Bible verses, Jesus told His followers that He was going to leave and prepare a place for them. “There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you” (verse 2). Jesus is preparing a special place for us to live. He has promised to come back and take us to this place, so we can live there forever with Him. I hope that you are excited that Jesus is coming back! —PD “After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back. Then I will take you with me, so that you can be where I am.” John 14:3
