罪惡感

當不遵從上帝時，我們會感到罪惡。罪惡感的目的不是要讓我覺得不舒服或是讓我們痛苦，罪惡感的目的是要幫助我們明白，我們必須求上帝赦免我們的罪。當我們求上帝赦免我們時，祂就會再一次潔淨我們。 　有時候，我們會讓罪惡感變成一個負擔，這樣我們就會分心而不再跟從上帝。上帝要我們專注於祂並讚美祂的赦罪之恩。 　今天閱讀的經文告訴我們有關那藉著耶穌所賜下的赦罪之恩：「因此，基督成為這新約的中間人，為要使上帝所呼召的人能夠領受他所應許永恆的福澤。這事的成就是藉著死；這死釋放了他們在頭一個約下所犯的罪過。」(第15節) 　你是否因不遵從上帝而感到罪惡呢？今天，就請求祂赦免你、潔淨你！ —BL 「藉著那永恆的靈，他把自己當作完整的祭物獻給上帝。他的血要淨化我們的良心，除掉我們的腐敗行為」 希伯來書9:14b 禱告：天父，請赦免我並潔淨我。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Guilt

When we disobey God, we feel guilty. The purpose of guilt is not to make us feel bad or make us miserable. The purpose of guilt is to help us understand that we need to ask God to forgive our sins. When we ask God to forgive us, He will make us clean again. 　Sometimes we let our guilt become a burden to us. Then we are distracted from following God. God wants us to focus on Him and praise Him for His forgiveness. 　Our Bible Reading tells about forgiveness through Jesus. “So Christ brings a new agreement from God to his people. He brings this agreement so that those who are chosen by God can have the blessings God promised, blessings that last forever. This can happen only because Christ died to free people from sins” (verse 15a). 　Do you feel guilty because you have not obeyed God? Ask Him to forgive you and make you clean today! —BL “Christ offered himself through the eternal Spirit as a perfect sacrifice to God. His blood will make us completely clean from the evil we have done.” Hebrews 9:14b PRAYER: Father, please forgive me and make me clean. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
