希望我會合格
聖經閱讀：提多書3:5-7 現代中譯本|合和本

在成長的階段，每到六月我就希望成績合格、可以晉升一個年級。我通常是一個成績中上的學生，所以並不需要擔心，但我還是會對收到成績單時是否能合格升級感到不安。 　我們都希望可以從這個世界合格升級而進入天堂，但是如果我們可以跟上帝同享永生，這並不是因為我們做了什麼事情。經文的第5節說上帝「藉著聖靈所施重生和更新的洗，拯救了我們；這並不是因為我們自己有甚麼好行為，而是因為他憐憫我們。」 　我們可以信任上帝和祂的應許，因著耶穌死在十架上，祂賜給我們永生的盼望，而「這盼望，正像生命之錨，又安全又可靠」 (希伯來書6:19a)。 　很多人都希望能擁有跟上帝同享永生的盼望，今天就跟他們分享耶穌的福音吧！—PD 「由於他的恩典，我們得以跟上帝有合宜的關係，而得到所盼望那永恆的生命。」 提多書3:7 禱告：上帝，謝謝祢賜下在天堂永生的應許。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (姜冠群譯)

Hope I Will Pass

As I was growing up, every June I hoped I would pass from one school grade to the next. I was usually an above-average student, so I didn’t need to worry. But I was always anxious to get my report card and see if I passed to the next grade. 　We hope that we will pass from this world and go to heaven. But if we live forever with God, it is not because of anything that we have done. Verse 5 of our Bible Reading says, “He saved us because of his mercy, not because of any good things we did. He saved us through the washing that made us new people. He saved us by making us new through the Holy Spirit.” 　We can trust God and His promises. He gives us the hope of eternal life because of Jesus’ death on the cross. “The hope is like an anchor for us. It is strong and sure and keeps us safe” (Hebrews 6:19a). 　Many people want to have the hope of living with God forever. Share the Good News about Jesus with them today! —PD “We were made right with God by his grace.
