愛你的鄰人

現今世界上有很多不好的事情，有些人彼此怨恨並訴諸戰爭，有些人則不跟鄰人和睦相處。為什麼會發生這樣的事情呢？那是因為人們不愛上帝，也不彼此相愛。 　在今天的經文中，有一些猶太領袖問耶穌哪一條誡命是最重要的？耶穌說，第一條最重要的誡命是「要全心、全情、全意愛主─你的上帝」 (第37節) 。然後耶穌接著說，第二條誡命就是「要愛鄰人，像愛自己一樣」(第39節)。 　誰是我們的鄰人呢？所謂「鄰人」不只是那些住在我們隔壁的人，而是指我們已經認識或我們曾遇見的任何人。如果我們愛鄰人並跟他們分享我們所擁有的，那麼我們也許可以幫助世界解決一些問題。 　今天，記得要愛上帝和你的鄰人。—RK* 「這比在祭壇上獻燒化祭和其他的祭物給上帝重要得多了。」 馬可福音12:33b 禱告：上帝，今天我願愛祢和我的鄰人。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Love Your Neighbor

There are many bad things in our world today. People hate each other and go to war. People do not get along with their neighbors. Why do these things happen? Because people do not show love to God and to each other. 　In our Bible Reading today, some Jewish leaders asked Jesus which command was the most important. Jesus said the first and most important command is: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind” (verse 37). Then Jesus said that the second command is to love “your neighbor the same as you love yourself” (verse 39). 　Who are our neighbors? Our neighbors are not just people who live next-door to us. Our neighbors are anyone we already know or anyone we meet.
