路司得是現在我們稱作土耳其那個地區中的一個城市。保羅和巴拿巴曾經在那個城市停留、向那裡的人傳講耶穌。 　今天的經文告訴我們，保羅和巴拿巴在路司得醫治了一個跛腳的人。當人們看見那個人被醫治了，就認為保羅和巴拿巴是神明，「他們稱巴拿巴為宙斯，稱保羅為希耳米」（第12a節）。 　保羅和巴拿巴很生氣，他們向路司得的人說，他們不是神明，同時也告訴他們要「歸向那位創造天、地、海，和其中萬物的永生上帝」（第15b節）。之後，那些人就生氣並打算要殺害保羅，所以保羅和巴拿巴就離開路司得，去到另外一個城市。 　也許今天你會去向人傳講耶穌，但是他們會拒絶聆聽。要持續不斷向那些想要跟從耶穌的人分享祂的福音。就求上帝幫助你為祂大膽說話。 —JK 「天國的福音先要傳遍天下」 馬太福音24:14a 禱告：天父，當我向人傳講耶穌時，求祢幫助我大膽說話。奉主的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Lystra was a city in the area that we call Turkey today. Paul and Barnabas stopped in that city to tell the people about Jesus. 　Our Bible Reading tells us that in Lystra, Paul and Barnabas healed a crippled man. When the people saw that the man was healed, they thought that Paul and Barnabas were gods. “The people began to call Barnabas ‘Zeus,’ and they called Paul ‘Hermes’” (verse 12a). 　Paul and Barnabas were very upset. They told the people of Lystra that they were not gods. They also told them, “Turn to the true living God, the one who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything that is in them” (verse 15b). Then the people became angry and tried to kill Paul. So Paul and Barnabas left Lystra and went to another city. 　Maybe today you will tell someone about Jesus, but they will refuse to listen. Keep sharing the news about Jesus with people who want to follow Him.
