最近，有一位伊朗牧師被判死刑，為什麼呢？因為他改信基督。今天，在世界各地有很多人因為跟從耶穌而面臨被毒打、監禁、甚至死亡。今天的經文是耶穌登山寶訓的一部份。在馬太福音第5章，耶穌教我們一些關於迫害和受苦的事情，在第44節，祂說：「但是我告訴你們，要愛你們的仇敵，並且為迫害你們的人禱告。」有時候，要去愛我們的仇敵真是困難，當我們受苦的時候，我們真不想去愛那些傷害我們的人，但是耶穌要我們用愛來對待仇敵，祂要我們跟世界上的其他人不一樣。 也許今天你會因基督徒的身份而受苦，但是不要放棄！記住耶穌的話，並且用祂的慈愛來對待別人。—LHD 「當別人因為你們跟從我而侮辱你們，迫害你們，說各樣壞話毀謗你們，你們多麼有福啊。」 馬太福音5:11
禱告：主，今天我要用愛和仁慈對待我的敵人。奉耶穌的名，阿們！

Willing to Suffer

Recently an Iranian pastor was sentenced to die. Why? Because he had converted to Christianity. Today many people around the world face beatings, imprisonment or even death because they follow Jesus. Our Bible verses today are part of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew, chapter 5, Jesus teaches us some things about persecution and suffering. In verse 44 He says, “But I tell you, love your enemies. Pray for those who treat you badly.” It is sometimes hard for us to love our enemies. When we are suffering, we do not want to love the people who are hurting us. But Jesus wants us to show love for our enemies. He wants us to be different from other people in the world. Perhaps you will suffer today because you are a Christian. Don’t give up! Remember Jesus’ words, and show His love to other people. —LHD “People will insult you and hurt you. They will lie and say all kinds of evil things about you because of me. But when they do that, know that great blessings belong to you.” Matthew 5:11
PRAYER: Lord, I want to show love and kindness to my enemies today. In Jesus’ name. Amen. |
