今天的經文繼續告訴我們耶穌的死。兵士們擲骰子來決定誰可以得到耶穌的衣服，而猶太領袖則對耶穌吼叫，其他人也嘲笑耶穌。有兩個罪犯也同時被釘在十字架上，一個在耶穌的右邊，一個在耶穌的左邊。其中一個罪犯叫罵羞辱耶穌，但另一個罪犯卻對他說：「你就不怕上帝嗎？我們受刑是活該；我們所受的不正是我們該得的報應嗎？但是這人並沒有做過一件壞事。」（第40b-41節） 這個罪犯知道自己做錯了很多事，他也知道耶穌是無辜的。世上的每一個人都必須知道自己是罪人，然後必須知道耶穌是贖他們罪孽的無瑕獻祭，並且要接受上帝救恩的禮物。 今天就花點時間求上帝原諒你的罪，並謝謝祂藉著耶穌賜下的救恩。—BH 「你們這些從前遠離上帝、現在卻跟基督耶穌結合的人，藉著他的死，已經接近上帝。」 以弗所書2:13

Our Bible verses today continue to tell us about Jesus’ death. The soldiers threw dice to decide who would get Jesus’ clothes. The Jewish religious leaders yelled at Jesus. Other people laughed at Him. Two criminals were also hung on crosses — one on each side of Jesus. One of the criminals shouted insults at Jesus. But the other criminal said, “You should fear God. All of us will die soon. You and I are guilty. We deserve to die because we did wrong. But this man has done nothing wrong”He also knew that Jesus was innocent. Every person on earth needs to realize that they are a sinner. Then they need to know that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for their sins, and accept His gift of salvation. Take time today to ask God to forgive your sins. And thank Him for salvation through Jesus. —BH “Yes, at one time you were far away from God, but now in Christ Jesus, you are brought near to him. You are brought near to God through the blood sacrifice of Christ.” Ephesians 2:13 PRAYER: Dear Father, I confess my sins and ask You to forgive me. In His name. Amen.
