容易忘記事情
聖經閱讀：路加福音12:4-7 現代中譯本|合和本

我年紀越大，就越容易忘記事情。有時候，我會走到聽障事工大樓的另一端，卻想不起來為什麼我要到那裡，或者，我會在回家的路上順道去雜貨店買三樣東西，但我卻只能記得其中的兩樣。 　大部人變老的時候都會有忘記事情的經驗，但是上帝卻不是這樣，祂並沒有忘記祂會照顧我的應許。今天閱讀的經文告訴我們，上帝並沒有遺忘祂所造的麻雀，而耶穌也提醒我們不需要害怕，為什麼呢？因為上帝記得我們，而且祂會照顧我們。 　上帝連麻雀都看顧，而我對上帝來說更是比麻雀貴重多了，祂會記得我並且照顧我。這真是讓我感到安慰，所以我要努力記得，今天上帝就想著我！—JK 「至於你們，連你們的頭髮也都數過了。所以，不要怕，你們比許多麻雀要貴重多了！」 馬太福音10:30-31 禱告：上帝，謝謝祢沒有忘記我，我知道今天祢會幫助我、照顧我。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (EHI譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

Forgetfulness

The older I get, the more I forget. Sometimes I walk to the other end of the Deaf Missions building, and I can’t remember why I am there. Or I stop at the grocery store on the way home to pick up three items, and I can only remember two of the items. 　Most people experience some forgetfulness as they age. But God is not like that. He does not forget His promise to take care of me. Our Bible Reading today tells us that God does not forget the birds that He created. Then Jesus also reminds us that we don’t need to be afraid. Why? Because God remembers us and will take care of us. 　God takes care of the birds. And I am worth more to God than the birds. He will remember me and take care of me. That makes me feel good. So I will try to remember that God is thinking about me today! —JK “God even knows how many hairs are on your head. So don’t be afraid. You are worth more than a whole flock of birds.” Matthew 10:30-31 PRAYER: God, thank You for not forgetting about me. I know that You will help me and take care of me today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
