尋求上帝
聖經閱讀：申命記 4:25-31 現代中譯本|合和本

希伯來書11:6說：「人沒有信心就不能得到上帝的歡心。凡是到上帝面前來的人都必須信上帝的存在，而且信他要報賞尋求他的人。」 　信心開始於我們真心相信上帝是真實的時候，但這樣還不夠，真正的信心發生在我們起身尋求上帝並且跟隨祂之時。今天閱讀的經文第29節說：「在那裏，你們要尋求上主─你們的上帝；如果你們專心一意尋求他，就會找到他。」 　所以我們要如何尋求並跟隨上帝呢？首先，我們必須接受上帝藉由耶穌所賜下的救恩禮物，然後，我們需要去做一些讓別人知道我們相信上帝的事，也就是說我們要去做榮耀上帝的事情，而做這些事正是上帝為我們生命所準備的計劃的一部份。我們可以每天花時間讀經和禱告、可以去教會、可以去幫助別人、以及用仁慈和愛來待人。 　我希望從今天起你就要尋求並且跟隨上帝—GT 「你們要全心、全情、全力愛上主─你們的上帝。」 申命記6:5 禱告：天父，我願尋求祢並且跟隨祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (EHI譯/台南聖教會英語團契)

Hebrews 11:6 says, “Without faith no one can please God. Whoever comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who sincerely try to find him.” 　Faith starts when we truly believe that God is real. But that is not enough. True faith happens when we seek God and follow Him. Verse 29 of our Bible Reading says, “But there in these other lands you will look for the Lord your God. And if you look for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.” 　So how do we seek and follow God? First, we must accept God’s gift of salvation through Jesus. Then we need to do things that show other people that we believe in God. This means that we do things that honor God and are part of His plan for our lives. We can spend time in Bible reading and prayer every day, go to church, help other people and be kind and loving. 　I hope that you are seeking and following God today and every day. —GT “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 6:5 PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I want to seek You and follow You.
