天氣熱的時候，喝一杯新鮮的檸檬汁是有幫助的。在夏天，當我先生在外面大太陽底下工作時，我會為他準備幾罐檸檬汁。 　在今天閱讀的經文中，約翰跟我們談到有一次耶穌遇見一個撒馬利亞女人，他們在一口井旁相遇，耶穌向那個女人要一些水喝，接著耶穌跟那女人說話，在第10節祂說：「要是你知道上帝的恩賜和現在向你要水喝的是誰，你就會求他，而他會把活水給你。」 　耶穌在這裡談的「活水」是指祂自己。如果我們跟隨祂、遵從祂，祂就會祝福我們，賜給我們永生：「我給的水要在他裡面成為泉源，不斷地湧出活水，使他得到永恆的生命」（第14b節）。 　你是否「渴望」得到上帝的愛和幫助？今天就歸向祂，閱讀並遵從祂的話語！ —JK 「喝了這水的人還會再渴；但是，誰喝了我所給的水，誰就永遠不再渴。」 約翰福音4:13b-14a 禱告：天父，我愛祢，今天我願跟隨祢、服事祢，求祢賜給那單單從耶穌那裡來的「活水」。奉主的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Lemonade

When the weather is hot, it is good to drink a refreshing glass of lemonade. During the summer, I make many pitchers of lemonade for my husband when he is working outside in the hot sun. 　In our Bible verses today, John tells us about a time when Jesus met a woman from Samaria. They met at a well, and Jesus asked the woman for a drink of water. Jesus continued talking with the woman, and in verse 10 He said, “You don’t know what God can give you. And you don’t know who I am...If you knew, you would have asked me, and I would have given you living water.” 　The “living water” that Jesus was talking about is Himself. If we follow and obey Him, He will bless us and give us eternal life. “The water I give people will be like a spring flowing inside them. It will bring them eternal life” (verse 14b). 　Are you “thirsty” for God’s love and help? Turn to Him today. Read His Word and obey it! —JK “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But anyone who drinks the water I give will never be thirsty again.” John 4:13b-14a PRAYER: Father, I love You and want to follow and serve You today. Please give me the “living water” that only comes from Jesus. In His name. Amen.
