上帝和愛

今天的經文教導我們認識一些關於上帝和愛的事情。 　首先，第19節跟我們談到我們對上帝的愛。為什麼我們要愛上帝呢？因為祂先愛我們。羅馬書第5:8節告訴我們：「但是上帝對我們顯示了無比的愛：當我們還是罪人的時候，基督已經為我們死了！」上帝愛我們，甚至當我們迷失在自己的罪裡時。 　其次，這些經節教導我們愛上帝和愛人：「那愛上帝的，也必須愛自己的弟兄和姊妹」（第21b節）。這節經文真是感動我的心，我愛上帝，但有時候我並不愛人，然而如果我真的愛上帝，我也會愛其他人。 　我鼓勵你想一想你和其他人的關係，你真的是愛他們嗎？如果不是，就請求上帝赦免你並幫助你開始去愛主內的弟兄姊妹。 －BC* 「若有人說『我愛上帝』，卻恨自己的弟兄或姊妹，他就是撒謊的；他既然不愛那看得見的弟兄或姊妹，怎麼能愛那看不見的上帝呢？」 約翰一書4:20 禱告：天父，求祢幫助我天天愛人。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (陳萍萍譯)

Our Bible verses today teach us a couple of things about God and about love. 　First, verse 19 tells us something about our love for God. Why do we love God? Because He loved us first. Romans 5:8 tells us, “But Christ died for us while we were still sinners, and by this God showed how much he loves us.” God loved us even when we were lost in our sins. 　Second, these verses teach us something about loving God and other people. “If we love God, we must also love each other as brothers and sisters” (verse 21b). This verse really touched my heart. I love God, but sometimes I do not love other people. But if I truly love God, I will love others, too. 　I encourage you to think about your relationships with other people. Are you truly loving them? If not, ask God to forgive you and help you to start loving your brothers and sisters in Christ. —BC* “If we say we love God but hate any of our brothers or sisters in his family, we are liars.
