上帝的祝福

我的朋友帶瑪麗去吃自助餐，瑪麗看遍所有不同的菜餚，但只拿了一點點東西放到餐盤裡。我朋友問瑪麗為什麼不多拿一點東西吃？瑪麗說，她不想讓我朋友為這一餐花太多錢。瑪麗並不明白她可以用同樣的價錢吃所有的菜餚。 　有時候我們就像瑪麗，上帝在我們的生活中提供很多祝福，但是我們卻不願意接受。今天的經文列出上帝供應祂兒女的諸多祝福：「既然是上帝的兒女，我們就享有上帝為他的子民所預備的福澤」（第17a節），其中的一些祝福包括：被稱為上帝的兒女、得到來自聖靈的幫助，以及沒有跟上帝隔絕。 　耶穌死在十架上好讓我們可以得到上帝的美好祝福。今天就接受上帝為你準備的祝福並為祂而活。 －NM 「因為我確信，甚麼都不能夠使我們跟上帝的愛隔絕……在整個被造的宇宙中，沒有任何事物能夠把我們跟上帝藉著我們的主基督耶穌所給我們的愛隔絕起來。」 羅馬書8:38-39 禱告：主，謝謝祢賜下很多祝福。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

My friend took Mary to a food buffet. Mary looked at all the different kinds of food, but she only put a few things on her plate. My friend asked Mary why she didn't take more food. Mary said that she didn't want my friend to have to pay a lot of money for the food. Mary did not realize that at a buffet she could eat all the food she wanted for one price. 　Sometimes we are like Mary. God offers us so many blessings in life, but we are not willing to take them. Our Bible Reading today lists many blessings that God offers to His children. “If we are God's children, we will get the blessings God has for his people” (verse 17a). Some of these blessings are being called God's children, receiving help from the Holy Spirit, and not being separated from God. 　Jesus died on the cross so that we can receive God's wonderful blessings. Accept God's blessings for you and live for Him today. —NM “Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from God's love...nothing in the whole created world...will ever be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 PRAYER: Thank You, Lord, for Your many blessings.
