猶太祭司以斯拉向猶太人宣讀上帝的律法。他們感到傷心，因為他們並沒有遵守上帝的律法，而在聽到律法之後，猶太人就歡慶並感謝上帝。今天的經文閱讀包含了許多讚美上帝的經節，在這些經節中，我們看到上帝如何照顧祂的子民。從創世到亞伯拉罕再到摩西，一直到猶太人被擄到其他國家，經過這些年，上帝仍持續不斷照顧祂的子民。 想一想上帝在你生命中為你所成就的一切好事，然後找一個方式來為這些事感謝上帝。也許你可以寫下其中的一些恩典，然後去跟別人分享，或者你可以寫一首詩或歌來讚美上帝。 上帝已經為你成就了許多美事，而且祂每天持續祝福你。今天就感謝讚美祂！ —JR* 「他的名超乎一切頌讚和讚美；願人人讚美他榮耀的名。……上主啊，惟有你是上主！」 尼希米記9:5b-6a

Ezra, the Jewish priest, read God’s law to the Jews. They were sad because they realized that they had not been following God’s laws. After they heard the law, the Jews celebrated and thanked God. Our Bible Reading today contains many verses of praise to God. In these verses we see how God took care of His people from creation to Abraham to Moses and until the time when the Jews were captured and taken to another country. Through all these years, God continued to take care of His people. Think about all the good things God has done for you during your life. Then find a way to thank God for these things. Maybe you can write down some of these good things and share them with other people. Or you can write a song or poem praising God. God has done many wonderful things for you, and He continues to bless you every day. Thank and praise Him today! —JR* “God has always lived and will live forever.
