耶穌的寶血 (3)

耶穌的寶血對我們是重要的，因為它帶給我們永生。在今天閱讀的經文中，耶穌吩咐一群人一定要吃祂的身體、喝祂的血：「我鄭重地告訴你們，如果你們不吃人子的肉，喝他的血，你們就沒有真生命」（第53b節）。 　耶穌不是在吩附人來吃祂真實的肉體，或喝祂身體的血，耶穌是在告訴他們要相信祂就是上帝的兒子並遵行祂的教導。在這些經節裡，耶穌稱祂自己是「生命的食糧」（第48節）。人需要食糧（食物）才能活，同理，如果想要與祂永遠同住，我們就需要耶穌。在吃主的聖餐時，我們要記得耶穌死在十字架上時，祂賜下祂的身體和祂的血，同時我們也要記得，耶穌從死裡復活並賜給我們與祂永遠同住的應許。 　想到跟耶穌永遠同住，我就感到很興奮！我希望你也同樣興奮。 —JK 「所以，直到主再來，每逢吃這餅喝這杯的時候，你們是在宣告主的死。」 哥林多前書11:26 禱告：親愛的上帝，我願與祢和耶穌永遠同住。奉主的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

Jesus' blood is important to us because it gives us eternal life. In our Bible Reading, Jesus told a group of people that they must eat His body and drink His blood. “Believe me when I say that you must eat the body of the Son of Man, and you must drink his blood. If you don't do this, you have no real life” (verse 53b). 　Jesus was not telling people to eat His physical body and drink the blood in His body. Jesus was telling them to believe that He was God's Son and to follow His teachings. In these verses, Jesus called Himself “the bread that gives life” (verse 48). People need bread (food) to stay alive. In the same way, we need Jesus if we want to live forever with Him. When we eat the Lord's Supper, we remember that Jesus gave His body and His blood when He died on the cross. And we remember that Jesus rose again and gives us the promise of living forever with Him. 　I am excited to think about living forever with Jesus!
