你還記得小時候玩的遊戲「跟隨領袖」嗎？那個當領袖的人也許會繞著屋子走、穿過灌木叢，然後走上山丘，其他的孩子則會跟著領袖做完全一樣的動作。 　耶穌是我們生命的領袖，我們的責任就去效法祂。在今天閱讀的經文中，耶穌跟祂的門徒說話，耶穌說祂即將離去，而彼得就感到困惑，他不明白耶穌要去哪裡。在第37節，彼得說：「主啊，為甚麼現在我不能跟你去呢？我願意為你捨命！」 　彼得是一個非常勇敢的人，但耶穌接著告訴彼得，說他會說出不認識祂的話。這件事不久之後，彼得就三次不認耶穌，彼得感到很傷心，但是他並沒有放棄跟隨耶穌。 　有時候我們也會失敗，但是我們必須持續跟隨耶穌。今天就讓你的生命專注於耶穌吧！ —PD 「耶穌又對他們說：『你們心裏不要愁煩；要信上帝，也要信我。在我父親家裏有許多住的地方，我去是為你們預備地方；若不是這樣，我就不說這話。』」 約翰福音14:1-2 禱告：天父，我願意每天跟隨耶穌。奉主的名，阿們！ (盧姵茹譯)

Follow the Leader

Do you remember playing the children’s game, Follow the Leader? The leader might walk around the house, through the bushes and up the hill. The other children would follow and do exactly what the leader did. 　Jesus is our leader in life. Our job is to follow Him. In our Bible verses, Jesus was talking with His disciples. Jesus said that He was going away. Peter was confused. He did not understand where Jesus was going. In verse 37 Peter asked, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I am ready to die for you!” 　Peter was very brave. But Jesus went on to tell Peter that he would say that he did not know Him. Very soon after this, Peter denied Jesus three times. Peter was sad, but he didn’t give up following Jesus. 　Sometimes we will fail, too. But we need to keep following Jesus. Keep your life focused on Him today! —PD “Jesus said, ‘Don’t be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you.’” John 14:1-2 PRAYER: Father, I want to follow Jesus every day. In His name. Amen.
