Hebrews 10 (3)
Bible Reading: Hebrews 10: 24-25
Saturday, October 11, 2014
Our Bible Reading today is short, but these two verses are very important for Christians. These verses tell us that some of the Christian Jews were not meeting together any more. The writer of Hebrews told them to meet together and strengthen each other. Why? So that they could be strong when they had to face hard times and persecution. Today many Christians face difficult situations. Some Christians around the world face death because they follow Jesus. To stand strong during these times, we need to have encouragement from other Christians. We can receive this encouragement from worship services, Bible studies, fellowship dinners and prayer meetings. If we continue to do these things, we will have the courage to stand strong for God. Look for ways to be with other Christians today. Fellowship with these people and encourage them to stand strong for God. —JK “The believers spent their time listening to the teaching of the apostles. They shared everything with each other. They ate together and prayed together.” Acts 2:42
PRAYER: Father, thank You for my brothers and sisters in Jesus. In His name. Amen. |
