當讀到耶穌降生的故事時，我們可以看到許多有很大信心的人。 　馬利亞一定對上帝有很大的信心，當天使告訴她會懷孕生下上帝的兒子時，馬利亞說（第38a節）：「我是主的婢女；願你的話成就在我身上。」馬利亞相信上帝會照顧她，並會幫助她養育祂的兒子。 　馬利亞的丈夫約瑟也同樣有極大的信心。馬太福音1:18-25告訴我們，有一個天使跟他說，馬利亞將會懷孕生下一個嬰孩。約瑟相信上帝會幫助他成為耶穌在世上的好父親。 　來看嬰孩耶穌的牧羊人也同樣有信心，他們相信天使告訴他們的事，「於是他們急忙趕去，找到了馬利亞、約瑟，和躺在馬槽裏的嬰兒。」（第16節） 　上帝要我們相信祂的話語和祂的應許，今天就信靠祂。— NW 「人沒有信心就不能得到上帝的歡心。凡是到上帝面前來的人都必須信上帝的存在，而且信他要報賞尋求他的人。」 希伯來書11:6 禱告：親愛的上帝，我願每一天都更加信靠祢。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (王亭惠譯)

When we read about Jesus’ birth, we can see some people who had great faith. 　Mary must have had a strong faith in God. The angel told her that she would have God’s Son. Mary said (verse 38a), “I am the servant of the Lord God. Let this thing you have said happen to me!” Mary trusted God to take care of her and to help her raise His Son. 　Mary’s husband, Joseph, also had great faith. Matthew 1:18-25 tells us that an angel told him Mary would have a baby. Joseph trusted God to help him be a good earthly father for Jesus. 　The shepherds who went to see baby Jesus had faith, too. They believed what the angel told them. “So they went running and found Mary and Joseph. And there was the baby lying in the feeding box” (verse 16). 　God wants us to have faith in His Word and His promises. Trust Him today. —NW “Without faith, no one can please God. Whoever comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who sincerely try to find him.” Hebrews 11:6 PRAYER: Dear God, I want to trust You more every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
