耶穌以人的形象在世上有33年之久，祂就像一般人一樣吃喝、睡覺、走路、研讀上帝的話語、禱告、受洗並參加各種聚會。耶穌也跟我們一樣富有情感。 　今天的經文談到上帝的兒女，第14a節說：「既然這些兒女都是有血肉的人，耶穌本身也同樣有了人性。」耶穌以人的形象來到世上，祂完完全全是一個血肉之軀的人。 　同時，耶穌完完全全就是上帝，祂完美無暇，正因為這樣，祂才能夠為我們的罪受死。耶穌代替我們受死，為要使我們的罪得赦免。 　此外，因為耶穌也是血肉之人，祂瞭解我們的快樂、痛苦和憂傷，祂可以幫助我們走過人生快樂和悲傷的日子。我好高興耶穌是一個有血肉的人！ —GT 「相反地，他自願放棄一切，取了奴僕的本質。他成為人，以人的形體出現。他自甘卑微，順服至死，且死在十字架上。」 腓立比書2:7-8 禱告：上帝，因為耶穌活出完全的生命並為我而死，我感謝祢。奉主的名，阿們！ (李信儀譯)

For about 33 years, Jesus was a human being. He ate, drank, slept, walked, studied God’s Word, prayed, was baptized and went to parties. And Jesus felt emotions like us, too. 　Our Bible Reading today talks about God’s children. Verse 14a says, “These children are people with physical bodies. So Jesus himself became like them and had the same experiences they have.” Jesus came to earth as a human. He was completely human. 　At the same time, Jesus was completely God and completely perfect. That is how He was able to die for our sins. Jesus died in our place so that we could have our sins forgiven. 　Also, because Jesus was human, He understands our joy, pain and sorrow. He can help us through good and bad times in our lives. I am so glad Jesus was human! —GT “Instead, he gave up everything, even his place with God. He accepted the role of a servant, appearing in human form. During his life as a man, he humbled himself by being fully obedient to God, even when that caused his death.” Philippians 2:7-8a PRAYER: God, thank You that Jesus lived a perfect life and died for me.
