那鴻是舊約裡的先知，他的信息記載在那鴻書裡。當讀這卷書時，我們知道上帝向尼尼微城發怒，為什麼呢？因為尼尼微城的百姓殺人、說謊，以及崇拜偶像。 　今天經文的第3節說：「上主不輕易發怒，但大有能力；他絕不以有罪為無罪。」之後，上帝毀滅了尼尼微城，祂完全按照祂所說的話來做。 　今天世上的每一個人都是罪人，我們所有人都悖逆了上帝，都應該接受懲罰。好消息是，當主耶穌死在十字架上時，祂為我們的罪擔當了所有的刑罰。當我們相信耶穌是我們生命的主和拯救者，並且順服祂時，我們就領受了祂的赦免和永生的奇妙禮物。 　今天就跟隨主耶穌，並且接受祂的免費救恩禮物。—JD* 「因為人人都犯罪，虧欠了上帝的榮耀。……藉著基督耶穌救贖他們，使他們跟他有合宜的關係。」 羅馬書3:23-24 禱告：天父，求祢原諒我的一切過犯。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (李信儀譯)

God’s Forgiveness
Bible Reading: Nahum 1:1-15

Nahum was an Old Testament prophet. His message is written in the book of Nahum. When we read this book we learn that God was angry with the city of Nineveh. Why? Because the people of Nineveh were murdering, telling lies and worshiping false idols. 　Verse 3 of our Bible Reading says, “The Lord is patient, but he is also very powerful! The Lord will punish the guilty; he will not let them go free.” Later God destroyed the city of Nineveh. God did exactly what He said He would do. 　Every person on earth today is a sinner. We have all disobeyed God and deserve to be punished. The good news is that when Jesus died on the cross, He accepted the punishment for our sins. When we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior and obey Him, we receive His wonderful gift of forgiveness and eternal life. 　Follow Jesus today and accept His free gift of salvation. —JD* “All have sinned and are not good enough to share God’s divine greatness...They are made right with God by being made free from sin through Jesus Christ.” Romans 3:23-24 PRAYER: Father, forgive me for the things I have done wrong.
