聖經閱讀：箴言10:1-13 現代中譯本|合和本

今天的經文是所羅門王所寫的箴言（智慧的話），這些箴言都是值得記住的好話，但是我想要專注在第12節：「憎恨引起爭端；愛能掩蓋一切過錯。」這節經文說，真正的愛是指原諒那些對我們做了錯事的人。如果家人能真心彼此相愛和饒恕，我們就會過得更快樂；如果人們能學習愛和饒恕，他們就會跟鄰舍更加和好相處。而在教會裡的基督徒也必須學習真心彼此相愛和饒恕。 全世界的國家也應該注意第12節的經文。如果不同國家的人們願意學習彼此相愛和饒恕，很多戰爭就不會發生。 今天，你可以成為其他人的榜樣，用愛和寬恕來對待你的家人和朋友。 —ECW 「有糾紛的時候要互相寬容，彼此饒恕；主怎樣饒恕你們，你們也要怎樣饒恕別人。」 歌羅西書3:13

Love and Forgiveness

Our Bible verses today are proverbs (wise sayings) written by King Solomon. They are all good things to remember, but I want to focus on verse 12. “Hatred causes arguments, but love overlooks all wrongs.” This verse says that true love means forgiving people for the wrong things they do to us. Our families would be happier if we would truly love and forgive each other. People would get along with their neighbors better if they would learn to love and forgive. Christians in the church need to learn to truly love and forgive each other, too. World nations should also pay attention to verse 12. Many wars would not happen if people from different countries learned to be forgiving to each other. You can be an example for others today. Be loving and forgiving to your family members and friends. —ECW “Don’t be angry with each other, but forgive each other. If you feel someone has wronged you, forgive them. Forgive others because the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13
