分心

我的姐妹查經班正在學習禱告。上個禮拜天，有一位姐妹來參加，她才剛從其他國家回來，在那裡，她跟許多宣教士同工。我問她，當在那個國家時，她的禱告生活有什麼樣的改變。 　這位女士分享說，她已經學會排除所有讓她分心的事，所以她可以在跟上帝禱告的時間裡專心。她說，在那個國家，大部份人都沒有電視，也沒有電腦或行動電話；當沒有電視節目可看、也沒有電話要接聽時，要定睛於上帝就比較容易了。當她回到美國之後，她決定少看電視，也不再花太多時間在電腦上。 　今天的經文告訴我們，耶穌會獨自一人到僻靜的地方禱告，耶穌希望遠離那些屬世、會讓祂分心的事，這樣祂才可以專心禱告。 　我希望今天你也可以用一些時間，安靜地跟上帝獨處，定睛於祂和祂的話語上。 —JK 「耶穌卻退到僻靜的地方去禱告。」 路加福音6:16 禱告：親愛的天父，我願定睛於祢，請幫助我排除生活中讓我分心的事。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (尤榮輝譯)

My ladies Bible class is studying prayer. Last Sunday a woman came who had just returned from working with missionaries in another country. I asked her how her prayer life changed when she was in that country. 　This woman shared that she had learned to shut out all distractions so she could focus on her prayer times with God. She said in that country most people do not have TVs or computers or cell phones. It was easier to focus on God when there were no TV shows to watch or cell phones to answer. When she returned to America, she decided to not watch so much TV or spend as many hours on her computer. 　Our Bible Reading today tells us that Jesus went alone to a place to pray. Jesus wanted to get away from the distractions of the world so He could pray. 　I hope you will be able to spend some quiet time alone with God today.
