忠心

全世界的父母都會慶祝他們新生兒的誕生，在養育孩子的過程中，有些父母會請求可以信任的朋友來幫助他們。 　耶穌一直都是上帝的兒子，但是當上帝差派耶穌到世間時，祂選擇了馬利亞和約瑟來養育祂的兒子。上帝知道馬利亞和約瑟會是好的父母，他們兩位都願意接受養育耶穌的責任。他們是忠心的父母。 　今天的經文告訴我們，馬利亞願意讓上帝使用她。在第38節，她說：「我是主的婢女；願你的話成就在我身上。」馬利亞和約瑟照顧耶穌，在祂誕生後沒多久，他們就按照猶太律法將耶穌帶到聖殿。路加福音2:41告訴我們，每一年他們都會到耶路撒冷慶祝逾越節。 　上帝交給馬利亞和約瑟一份很特別的工作，並且他們忠心地順服祂。我希望你也會對上帝忠心，並且順服於祂。 —PD 「你要懷孕生一個兒子，要給他取名叫耶穌。」 路加福音1:31 禱告：主，請幫助我永遠對祢忠心。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (姜冠群譯)

Parents around the world celebrate the arrival of their newborn baby. Some parents ask trusted friends to help them as they raise the child. 　Jesus has always been God’s Son. But when God sent Jesus to earth, He chose Mary and Joseph to raise His Son. God knew that Mary and Joseph would be good parents. Both of them were willing to accept the responsibility of raising Jesus. They were faithful parents. 　Our Bible verses today show us that Mary was willing for God to use her. In verse 38 she said, “I am the Lord’s servant. Let this thing you have said happen to me!” Mary and Joseph took care of Jesus. Soon after he was born, they took Jesus to the temple to obey the Jewish law. Luke 2:41 tells us that every year, they went to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover feast. 　God gave Mary and Joseph a special job to do, and they were faithful to obey Him.
