今天有很多人會問這樣一個問題：「什麼是愛？」世界給了我們許多不同的答案，但是今天的經文告訴我們真愛是什麼。 　真愛就是上帝的愛，這些經節告訴我們，上帝的愛是給予（第10節），是完全的（第12節），是值得相信的（第16節），是沒有懼怕的（第17節）。我們可以藉著耶穌在十字架上的犧牲看見上帝的愛，「上帝差他的獨子到世上來，使我們藉著他得到生命；上帝用這方法顯示他愛我們」（第9節）。 　上帝的愛也為我們立了一個榜樣。上帝先愛了我們，所以我們也必須愛上帝。因此，如果我們愛上帝，我們也當愛主內的弟兄和姊妹。 　世上許多人所給的愛是無法被信任的，但是我們可以永遠信靠上帝的愛。今天就接受上帝的愛，祂永遠不會讓你失望！—RK* 「所以，我們知道，並且相信上帝愛我們。上帝是愛；那有了愛在他的生命裏的人就是有上帝的生命，而上帝在他的生命裏。」 約翰一書4:16 禱告：親愛的上帝，我需要祢的愛，謝謝祢向我彰顯祢的愛。奉耶穌的名，阿們！ (李信儀譯)

What is Love?

Many people today ask the question, “What is love?” The world offers us many different answers. But our Bible verses today tell us what true love is like. 　True love is God’s love. These verses tell us that God’s love is giving (verse 10). It is perfect (verse 12), trustworthy (verse 16) and without fear (verse 17). We can see God’s love through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. “This is how God showed his love to us: He sent his only Son into the world to give us life through him” (verse 9). 　God’s love also sets an example for us. God loved us first, so we need to love Him. And then, if we love God, we need to love our brothers and sisters in Christ. 　Many people in the world offer a kind of love that can’t be trusted. But we can always trust God’s love. Accept God’s love today. He will never fail you! —RK* “So we know the love that God has for us, and we trust that love. God is love.
